Ingredients
- 8 ounces spaghetti or fettuccine
- 6 slices of bacon, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. - Cook the Bacon
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and drain on paper towels, leaving some drippings in the pan. - Sauté Garlic
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. - Make the Sauce
