Ingredients

  • 8 ounces spaghetti or fettuccine
  • 6 slices of bacon, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  1. Cook the Pasta
    In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the Bacon
    In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and drain on paper towels, leaving some drippings in the pan.
  3. Sauté Garlic
    In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Make the Sauce
