Madegood Granola Bars

When I’m craving a snack, I prefer something wholesome. These madegood granola bars are delicious and free from the unpronounceable additives found in most store-bought options. I’ve packed them with quick rolled oats, Medjool dates, peanut butter, walnuts, and chocolate chips. They taste incredible and are much healthier, made with whole food ingredients.

Are Madegood Granola Bars Healthy?

That depends on several factors. Generally, madegood granola bars can be a good source of fiber and sometimes protein. However, many contain as much sugar and calories as candy bars. I tend to avoid products with ingredient labels full of unrecognizable or hard-to-pronounce items.

My homemade bars use Medjool dates and honey as the main sweeteners, which are lower on the glycemic index, making them more nutrient-dense and healthier than those with regular sugar or corn syrup. The peanut butter and walnuts add protein, and the oats increase the fiber content. Overall, these madegood granola bars are much healthier than store-bought ones and taste even better!

Is it cheaper to make your own Madegood Granola Bars?

Absolutely! I like to buy peanut butter and oats in bulk when they’re on sale, as they have a long shelf life. This helps reduce costs. While some store-bought granola bars might be cheaper, I can guarantee their ingredients aren’t as wholesome. At just $0.72 per bar, these healthy Madegood granola bars are great for your budget and even better for your body!

What Else you Can Add

These bars are a versatile base for various mix-ins. Try these:

  • White chocolate chips
  • Dried or freeze-dried fruits
  • Nuts or seeds
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Crushed pretzels

Have a peanut allergy? Swap peanut butter and peanuts for almond butter. If you’re allergic to all tree nuts, try tahini and pumpkin seeds instead!
